Ning Theme Design/Development for Wildpop Records

Overview

Wildpop Records is a record label and also a scholarship program. Pearl, an artist at Wildpop, and I discussed ways to develop a custom Ning theme which would upgrade the look and image of the company for 2011.

Regarding the design, bold, fun, and simple were the keywords. Pearl mentioned the influence of California imagery and way of life (e.g. hot cars with glamorous paint jobs, fun, speed, freedom, music) and wanted to incorporate the feel of these elements into the design.

I gathered a few reference images which I felt conveyed the imagery desired and drew a bit of inspiration from them.

    Very nice design. I think that orange is hard to harmonize! This design solution looks very nice!Is there a live site to see the design in action?

      Sorry for the late reply. The site owner actually took down the site so unfortunately it cannot be seen live anymore.
