Ghost Dance

Concept illustration for a comic in development revolving around the Sioux. The artwork shows the main character essentially walking out of his own grave after a massacre of his people (Wounded Knee Massacre). The “Ghost Dance” was a ritual that if properly performed would bring the spirits of the dead to fight on their behalf, chase out the colonists, and bring peace, prosperity, and unity to Native American peoples throughout the region.
